Should i buy this twink game? Last soulslike I played was Wuchang which I enjoyed well enough despite the flaws

It's pretty good, definitely worth it at the 50% discount. Relies on sekiro-style parries more than dodging. Puppet enemies are notably jerky and can through off your timings until you get used to it. Does spectacle bosses quite well when they hit, just ok otherwise.Feels kind of like bloodborne with deflect parries

Dodging is non-viable in this game, some enemies have auto-aim combos that go on for like 10 seconds, you don't even have the stamina to dodge all that, you have to block and parryAnd as a dodgeslopper that's a deal breaker for me. >>737641689As someone that was skeptical and avoided it until the dlc came out, get it. I thought it would be a bloodborne clone but it's more like 70% sekiro 30% bloodborne. Also get the dlc, tons of content and very cool weapons. Dlc final boss is probably a top 5 souls boss, counting both fromsoft and soulslikes. It also managed to make me give a shit about the characters and story which was a surprise.

Not the greatest but has it's fun moments. Level design is dogshit. DLC sorta fixes this but not by much. Bosses are the most fun part if you're into parryslop.
