All the characters and world are made of clay, and the animation mimics stop-motion animation on purpose for that reason. :)

That works for video but on interactive games? Not so much, just look jank because the walking and movement looks fluid then the character is all jank shit. Also stop motion doesn't mean jank/fewer frames animation.
