I just beat Sifu, can we have a thread about it? Have you played it, what did you think about it?I liked it at first, starting having mixed feelings at the Kuroki fight with Phase 1 kicking my ass no matter what, then limped to the final boss where I couldn't get him down without a game over since I was pretty reliant on Focus moves.I went back after a bunch of attempts and got through all the stages again with a lot better feel for the game, utilizing moves and dodges more effectively (learning that you could cancel anything into a block/dodge helped a lot). I got to the Sanctuary at like 26 years old and managed to beat Yang with much less trouble, and now my opinion of it is much higher.
It's a pretty good 3d brawler. I had a similar experience of barely beating the game the first time before trying to get through levels with minimum deaths. I think my best run was around 26-28 also. The game had a fun modding scene of people adding characters and outfits. I think it's weird the devs took so long to add optional outfits and they are all fucking garbage. Like they added the old boy suit and it looks like a baggy hand me down it's terrible. Also the death animations are generally trash and the entire combat experience would improve by 300% if every enemy always ragdolled. Overall I really like it though

>>737651576It was alright. I definitely liked beating the shit out of people. It was miserable that every enemy would block after about 2 hits and sometimes they'd do 10 hit combos.
