I agree but it isn't nearly as monumental. The ending is short and kinda "oh that was a nice game".OoT was special because it has a special mood throughout. It emanated a sense of "this is important" through its atmosphere and environments, and then it kind of one-ups itself when Link becomes an adult, and one-ups that again when you get to the climax in ganon's tower and see the ending.It just felt monumental.

You can feel it in the deliberation of the combat. Both games share the same strong Japanese gen X direction which creates that heavy atmosphere and sense of adventure, beautiful women and masculine bushido-minded stoic protagonists.

Since this is the NG thread, what's the strongest weapon in NG history? For me, it's a toss-up between NGS1+/Master Collection Dual Katana and the Talons in NG2. Sure, Talons have easy delimbs with >Y and FS -> Izuna Drop, but the Dual Katana in Sigma is broken because of Rotate Y. Since NGS+/MC gives you a max Fire Wheel, you can stack DPS like crazy with Fire Wheel + RotateY + Azura Dragon Helm + GoM. Plus, it has Izuna Drop, Flying Swallow and a really strong counter that has a short, quick animation.Ah, I'll go with the NGS1 Dual Katana... It has no flaws. I posted this in another thread, but it died quickly. Wonder what Anons think is the most OP weapon in NG history.

I also believe that is the hardest game in the series by far but pretty much everyone who is into 3RE knows that you can use the scythe as a massive crutch, and if you watch a challenge video/ninja trial where someone uses the scythe they basically admit that they couldn't do it with any other weapon.
