Honest thoughts on Metroid Prime 2 /v/?
Just a reskin of Prime 1 and it's neither worse nor better, but if you already played Prime 1 it's worse.
I own it physically but haven't played it. Should I play it on GC or Wii?

>>737652336Half the game is damage zones which kills the exploration the games are supposed to be about. Bosses in damage zones are cancer. So is ammo. So is last minute scavenger hunts for permission to fight the last boss. A lot of shit games started doing this and I stopped buying consoles.

I spent hours shooting everything, going back and forth to find where to go, had to look up on internet on a friend computer to find out shit was bugged so I ended up restarting the game to clear it.

Game came out alongside Halo 2, HL2, and MGS3 with GTA SA just a month before and RE4 a couple months after. As such it's been a magnet for contrarian tendies to say "no, THIS one is ACTUALLY the best game evar" since fucking 2004 even though it's not even as good as the game before it, let alone the games it directly competed with.
