The emotional beats at the end of the case about Himari's family drama were excellent and didn't disappoint. But the culprit and evidence that pointed to them was kinda meh. Felt like there was no build-up and it wasn't an "oh shit" moment like it was supposed to be, partially because of somewhat weak sound direction. I thought Moichi being the one would've been a red herring, given how fragile the testimony that led him to be put under the spotlight was. The part about the left-handed letter felt kind of asspully, same with the shackles sound effect. I might have to reread the chapter to see if those were properly foreshadowed. Eden Garden did it better, DR2-1 had Nagito, DRV3 had an amazing twist. But I'll say that the MC not taking his apology down was a nice change of pace. He really was a faggot lol.Sometimes the game would bug out and not accept the correct answers you'd provide during trials or even worse, give you evidence that doesn't apply to the debate segment forcing you to return to title and reload the correct batch. Also the card battle mini game is absolute cancer to go through. You asked and you care btw.
I'll say though that for a westoid game they aren't shaming themselves regarding fan-service and the fatty character is often called as such during the game. I'm excited to see what comes next
