>>737660003Because the best the game has going for it are it's visuals and presentation. It's shockingly too easy and also a tad too slow paced to really be called a boomer shooter. It's more like the devs wanted to make some kind of detective themed game, but figured because PIs have guns so the rest of the game should be a grab bag of current shooter mechanics thrown in. You got a double jump, a dash, a grappling hook, even a damn hover ability....and all of it runs on a stamina bar. A stamina bar that also fuels your melee attacks, because this souls like mechanic is just here for some reason? Not that it ever becomes an issue even on Hard, the game is light on enemies, and even lighter on dangerous ones. You can outpace and outdamage everything here, even bosses, that there's nothing to really challenge you in it. So the game falls back on the cheesy dialogue and visual flare, because that's the only part that feels like it had any real thought put into it.

Honest quickfire review of this game.> Music is perfect.> Gameplay is fun, but combat is too easy.> Voice acting is mostly perfect aside from the reporter lady. The fact your collected figurines are shown on the shelf in your apartment, the coin machine in the bar shows a number for how many tokens you've aquired etc. So it misleads you into thinking there's NG+ so you can revisit levels. But sadly, no.
