You're telling me this guy stays outside the walls of The Imperial City everyday, selling illicit goods, and the Imperial Watch does nothing about it at all?
>>
Oblivion has to be one of the ugliest games ever made.
>>
>>737660769
He gives them a cut.
>>
>>737661118
Skyrim is way uglier.
>>
>>737662567
no
>>
>>737662567
come one you don't actually believe that
>>
>>737662742
Oblivion looks like a beautiful watercolor painting.
Skyrim looks like rural bumfuck Norway.

oblivion's character models and equipment are uglier but the world is prettier

>>737663008
it literally doesn't matter how ugly you think it is unless you can bring up another game with as much rpg freedom and immersion as it
>>
>>737660769
You're supposed to believe that NPC's in the game have lives outside of just standing in one spot all day. It's part of having an imagination.

Also Oblivion sucks.
>>
>>737660769
The Imperial Watch is meant to be ridiculously corrupt, to the point Hieronymus Lex being good at his job is a exception rather than the norm.
Sam probably tips them off with a bit of Skooma.
>>

morrowind and skyrim
>>
>>737662867
I can get being somewhat fond of the dreamlike lighting, and sometimes when thing don't all blend together from looking the same, the landscapes cam look rather pretty.
But the moment you see a humanoid their sheer ugliness pulls everything down.
>>
>>737661118
Why are we pretending that Morrowind looks good even for it's time
>>
>>737665045
*very heavily modded skyrim
>>

>But the moment you see a humanoid their sheer ugliness pulls everything down.
Wait, are we still talking about Skyrim?
>>
>>737665296
No, I was speaking of oblivion, skyrims lightning is very boring incomparison to oblivion's, but the characters are bareable to look at
>>
>>737660769
Are the walls actually patrolled? How long are they in canon?

Not really. In canon, The Imperial City is supposed to be fucking massive.
>>
>>737665875
imagine being able to properly explore that. It would be hell.

It's canon that the the Empire allows the Thieves Guild to run their operations because it's somehow healthy to the economy so I wouldn't be surprised
>>
>>737665234
Morrowind looks like shit but funnily the armor sets shit all over oblivions and even most of skyrims

This series not having a consistent art style is a tragedy
>>
>>737661118
Only the characters. Oblivion not having a god awful brown tint makes it more beautiful than any other Bethesda game.
>>
>>737665234
Morrowind at least has a certain style to it.
Oblivion is generic fantasy presented in the blandest ugliest way.
>>
>>737670959
No. Unique doesn't mean good. I would rather look at Oblivions colorful and fun cities and forests than morrowinds dreadfully dull locales
