Never made sense to me how Eidolon could kill the hexen hero and claim the Chaos Sphere, when you kill Eidolon why he's buffed by the Chaos Sphere.I wish they did something similar to Diablo II where Eidolon is possessing Daedolon to start the battle, giving the final Hexen 2 battle 3 stages and gives the 3 riders cleric forms (korax's is the heresiarch)

>>737671435>the heroes leave the Chaos Sphere behindThat's not what I remember. when you return to the sphere there is another presence in the chamber watching you that makes you scared shitless. the end text suggested you were going to fight a battle you could not win.it isn't until hexen II that the sage says that the chaos sphere is actually evil. in hexen 1 it's simply portrayed as a powerful artifact with unknown origin.even in the hexen II manual, the sphere isn't mentioned when the 3 demons escape the alternate dimension, so it's not until after the final battle in hexen 2 that we learn the sphere was evil. we didnt even know its powers until tyranith said it reset all the puzzles and ressurected all the dead bosses
