Is it worth upgrading to a PS5 Pro from a base PS5?

It feels like all games that are coming out boss are designed for optimal performance by PS5 Pro

not if you already have a ps5. it's just minor bumps in res and performance. save up for the ps6 launch instead. you're going to need a lot of money for that

no one really knows, but there have been articles within this last month about ps6 still targeting 2027. also, square isn't going to just abandon the ps5 crowd--still way too big a market to ignore. they'll make sure the game runs decently on base

Depends entirely on your finances imo. If you can piss $750 or whatever they are now, then yeah, maybe. If the price is a fairly decent amount for you then fuck no.
