Its kind of a clueless puzzle in a lot of ways.
Hey does this exaggerated face that doesnt connect to the body model at all mean lie or doubt. And which one wont make cole have an autistic meltdown on the witness.

what was up with the big baddies recording then just leaving their evil plans for anyone to see in that abandoned studio? I didn't really truly understand what was happening exactly when it first came out, was still a kid then and i played it but i played it like 2 or 3 years ago for a second time and that shit just took me out of it, some looney tunes bad guy shit. I mean other than that its one of the best of its genre in video games imo plays out in line with how a noire story would, but there had to be a better way to make the big motive reveal

I don't think I can stand him in real life, but he's a very well-written and entertaining character to observe.
In that regard the developers deserves high praise. Jack Kelso is immensely more likeable and feels more like a main character - but Cole is the more fascinating one.

Yeah it was because she was german, which even that they wouldn't have made a big deal out of back in the day too, there were plenty of germans here way before ww2 plenty who came as refugees and plenty more who came over after the war, that shit was a non issue but they needed some sort of narrative tool to discredit cole so they went with that.
