I enjoyed multiplayer games when the games were controlled by the players. We made the servers, we moderated them, and we made all the custom content that most of us would play every day. The devs just supported the game and fixed bugs.Now that it's the devs curating the entire experience I hate multiplayer games. I hate the overly polished "content" that is devoid of creativity being pushed out to an amorphous group of players who have no real community. It's soulless garbage.

I quit playing because of crappy hardware, switched to retro singleplayer vidya and never tried multiplayer again even after an upgrade. It's been so long that I wouldn't even know what to play. A lot of games I used to play are dead now, too.
