Anyone played this? Its by Capcom and yet no one here has ever shilled it. is it a piece of shit?
>>737678456It's an alright game if you like tower defense and yokais.
>>737678456I skipped it because of Denuvo, and by the time they got rid of Denuvo, I forgot it existed.
Great visuals. Meh game.
I was interested in it since the first reveal they did. It launched with a bit of a heftier pricetag, so I only bought it on sale a few months after release - this then became the new standard price. It's pretty neat to see a AA game from CAPCOM, I'm talking no voice acting, a limited focus and random challenges and collectables to extend playtime. Very '00s and I like it.I 100%ed it myself and while some optional stuff was annoying to get right, it wasn't too bad.Nothing in the gameplay really stood out to me. Everything was competently done.

>>737678456I liked it well enough. It's a nice fusion of tower defense and action, although I wish the game went deeper into both genres.
I did the same thing as >>737678725 but I didn't forget and got it as soon as denuvo was dropped. I always find it hilarious that people claim they'll buy a game once denuvo gets dropped from it but I can't remember anyone else actually doing it. In any case I was basically going to post what >>737678687 said, it's a game with a great aesthetic but you'll probably only like it if you enjoy tower defense style gameplay.
>>737678456I bought it on Switch 2 during the console's launch and it was easily my GOTY
Shit game but great ost.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chUPBwqc7Vo
I shilled it a lot when if came out. It was my GOTY. It takes like 4 missions in for the game to get good, but it does get really good. Also, play NG+ all the way through for a new final boss.
Yeah, it was my goty.Really fun game with lots of soul even if some things could've been improved.Hope Capcom gives director a bigger budget next time. Sequel would be cool as well. Also, ng+ final boss kicked my ass for some time.
>>737679209I've picked up a few games after Denuvo is removed, notably Monster Hunter titles. I think I forgot about this one just because nobody talks about it and unlike something like MH, it's not something to play with friends.
Stress enducing, but I loved those little villager niggas. Seeing them get all happy after beating the shit out of demons was worth it.
>>737678456It's a solid 7/10, has some interesting ideas but it doesn't execute any of them exceptionally well. If you want to play something different from the usual stuff that gets released I'd recommend it but don't expect to be blown away by it.
it's a very mediocre tower defense game that lacks any kind of basic QoL that the genre has had since its inception. it was an art project by a bunch of younger staff at capcom and it shows.
I have nothing to add that hasn't already been said. Played this when it came out and enjoyed it, need to go back and play some of the post-release stuff some day.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-atP9Csjhw
I wish they left out the action bits and went all-in on the tower defense. We hardly get any AA TD games.
>>737678456incredible game but I was surprised when I realized it's a damn tower defense
>>737679413I'm always skeptical when people say they've bought denuvo removeo'd games only after I point out that barely anyone announces it, to me the whole point of boycotting denuvo games is to let game devs/publishers know that you're willing to spend money on a game but not if it has denuvo and not pointing out that you actually do buy the games after the fact just makes said devs/publishers think it's bullshit.
>>737678456I'm waiting for a big sale
>>737678456It's pretty good but it's pretty simpleI like it a lot
