From RE2MAKE till RE9, I have no idea whats the overall story of the franchise. I know it all strated in Racoon City and umbrella corp is the reason but how are all these 6 games (2,3,4,7,8,9) connected to each other? Can anyone give me a qrd?

There were a few things that I felt were adapted wrong, and obviously some cut content that was put in the Ada DLC, but overall the 4make is both harder and scarier than the original. It's probably the definitive horror action game of all time right now. Before that I would have given it to Dead Space 2.
