Kingdom hearts is better, zelda is better, fromsouls is better, you FFfags have no standards
>>
>>737682839
thats because its playing itself

You might have the point on Fromslop but they are not directly comparable in the big picture.

I wish everyone played as good as Cloud or Yuffie, but its still good. Tifa in Remake felt great, Tifa seems left behind in Rebirth compared to the stuff Cloud got added or just Yuffie in general.

I also hope they tweak how ATB is generated, so you don't need to babysit the AI so much. Either make them aggressive so they actually generate it, or make the passive generation speed up but slightly lower the amount generated from hitting so the active character isn't getting too much more than now.

>Zelda
no, especially not the newer ones
>fromsouls
On the boss side I agree, on the player-input side not really. Games like Nioh or Khazan off the top of my head take the same fundamentals and just give you combo paths and actual fucking buttons. Souls has largely stagnated since Dark Souls 3, ER isn't that much smoother to control and didn't add new combat options.

Horizontal improvement. I like that Sora has finishing moves, and pressing Square has a few mid/end combo things, but really its just Sora and not a whole roster of people. Transformations in 3 are pretty damn cool though, but I also like having a ton of weapon abilities or stuff from materia.

None of those games has party-based combat

You are meant to constantly rotate your character though.

What does the Lifestream even do?
I didn't find it to be all that exciting. Definitely better than the unfinished nonsense that was Remake, but it still felt less like I was actually involved in the combat and more like I was just watching it, if that makes sense. It suffers from an issue a lot of games suffer from in that, apart from optional/superbosses, it never really feels like the enemies are out to kill you, or even have a chance. Unless the VFX induce a seizure and you drop the controller there's no real way to ever lose no matter what you do, and even then you might still win. What's the point in that? "The enemy has to be fun to shoot at, as well as be shot at" words to live by.

Niggas who've played one action game be like:

Better than Ninja Gaiden 2 or Devil May Cry 4/5?
>>
>>737685276
Final Fantasy has never been known for its difficulty.
The main appeal for RPGfags has always been the story foremost. If it is good, it can still carry the game besides the gameplay.
