Feels like they just give up with it at this point, making more and more invasive anti-piracy measures is just gonna turn people off wanting to buy entirely.

Sony is already implementing a timed license that forces you to go online once a month or you won't be able to play the games. This isn't exactly news, always online was always the most effective anti-piracy measure
