Hypervisor bypasses are not real cracks and too dangerous to be worth it. Wait for voices38 or unironically get the game(s) through key resellers or beg for people to buy the game(s) you want for you. At this point it'll be less pathetic than leaving your PC wide open for malware and trusting in software you don't understand.
Thr risk ratio is not in your favor.
>>
How are you doing, fellow pirates?
I'm just here to remind you that using hypervisor will literally give your PC aids. No pirate would ever use that Russian gargabe.

I think by far the funniest Denuvo factoid is that the what's-his-name founder from Austria stole (or you could say, pirated) code from his previous job at SecuROM. This is literally the kind of shit that Zenimax sued Carmac over.
>>
>>737691039
Their usual MO is either bribing or threatening specific hackers but hypervisor bypasses are too easy to develop that they can just hire one guy and sue the other and shut down the whole pipeline like they had done before. And the only programming solution would be actual always-online requirement.

Nothing. They just wanted to look cool ripping them in half before disposing of.
>>
>>737688224
No. Only the art is good (at first glance, but then you realize it clashes with the background assets) but the gameplay, voice acting, music and sfx are all around underwhelming. Too slow, weapons feel weak to use, too easy and nothing interesting in terms of movement or gameplay design. I saw many people compare Mouse: P.I For Hire to Cuphead but the latter offered a tight, fast-paced challenging gameplay experience (at the time of release without cheesy DLCs) with the artstyle to complement the visuals.

>>
>>737695697
The overhead of the hypervisor itself is negligible. The only reason it would cause performance issues is because it's spoofing the cracker's PC specs to the game, which may be better than your actual specs. Automatic optimizations for core count and RAM could case problems.

You enter a discord server and accept their rules.
From there you enter a 2nd discord server for free invites (those start getting tokens after the paid ones from the first server are covered).
Once the game you want has a token available (at the time im posting this crimson desert has 1k tokens available for free but pragmata tokens are still getting taken as soon as they are generated, it will slow down in a couple more days; that said i picked a pragmata free token yesterday so your mileage my vary).
You download the clean steam files from their own server. You download a windows utility to pause windows updates (as those would break the denuvo token).
Once you have those 2 and there is a token you click on it and the bot asks for you to paste a screenshot that shows that you have the game installed (from those clean files you downloaded) and that screenshot also has to show that you have the windows updates disabled (from that other utility).
The bot checks that the installed file size is what it should be and sends you a download link with the token.
Copy paste the token onto where you installed and then launch the game with an specific executable in there not the real one as it would launch steam.
Once you confirm its working you have to post a screenshot of the game on the first server showing that its working.
I have played 4 games (and currently on pragmata) and 0 troubles with any of the games.

>>737688284
I havent sent a single discord message other than the screenshot to the bot and the screenshot to show the game works, 0 interactions with any human whatsoever

Never again. Hypervisor is the best method and Denuvo are literally BTFO because of them.

The few first days of highly hyped games recently like Requiem, Crimson desert, Pragmata, BMW last year; have all the generated tokens go to donors that pay a couple € to be on the "priority" list or whatever is called.
Once all those are served then they start going to the bot on the free discord.
I just mentioned the Crimson desert one for perspective.
I got the Pragmata token a couple days ago and by then they were popping and instantly disappearing. Just checked and picrel shows 30 tokens for it available so there is no more "queue" at all.
So about a week after release of those big hype games you can get a token if you check often for it, and about 10 days later the tokens become plentiful enough

As long you don't hit over > 90°C, you are not killing it. And let me teach you a trick, just power limit your card by 10-20% instead. Your temps will drop dramatically but performance won't, the whole reason GPUs don't overclock as well as they did in the past is that they are being pushed way past their efficiency range from the factory.

Compromising the security of your computer to save $40 is retarded. The appeal of pirating is convenience and comfort of not worrying about buyers remorse. If you want to risk giving your computer AIDs for a game maybe that game is worth buying.

"Secrets"
All the secrets (except for the Funko Pops) are just slightly out of the way locations with money that have a giant "secret" word pop over them. You can find money everywhere in this game, me turning the corner and finding more money in a level full of money a secret does not make, and no, the cards for that terrible card game and the comic strips don't count either, because you can buy them all at the shop in the hub. The hidden Funko pops however I will begrudgingly agree is a secret, though lame.

My guess is that Gaben knows their main competition isn't other stores, it's piracy. Look at Netflix; they offered a better experience than the pirates for an affordable price, and the piracy rates dropped. When they made the service worse through higher price, lower quality, no more password sharing, ads etc., people went back to piracy. Gaben knows that if he pisses of his playerbase, starts banning them left and right, people will just go back to piracy.

If you look through the comments on the piracy sites (any one, they all seem to have them) there are reports from people who have "bricked" their PCs with HV installs, coupled with a lot of other people with third world typing styles shouting them down, of course.

The culprit isn't HV, but when you disable the functions to need to disable in order to use it, your PC is basically flying blind, security-wise. And most people have no idea how much malware and shit is already in their PC, just lying dormant, or prodding at the walls every few hours, being turned back by basic security.

HV literally IS like giving your computer AIDS. It's forcing your PC to have no basic immunity, so even the simplest cold can fuck it up.
>>
>>737741876
>most people have no idea how much malware and shit is already in their PC
Yes, definitely don't use HV if you have subhuman IQ and get your pirated TV series in the .mkv.exe format.

Stay poor and 'safe' in your locked basement while I let the botnet mine Monero on my GPU so I can play AAA slop for free. >>
>>737741867
>no fried motherboards or stolen crypto wallets
those things have to be tailored to you, and nobody is going to do that. I would say, however, that there is a 98% chance that your PC is now part of a botnet based in Russia and that in the next few months your PC will start to get slower and slower, with a few more hitches and hangs here and there.
>>
>>737741937
nah, we're not just talking about the old limewire In_The_End.mp3.exe shit here.
Even the pirqacy sites you visit to GET hypervisor were recently found to have malware in it that can infect you even just by visiting the page if you have none of the basic protections. A lot of sites have these same problems because people have not gotten smarter over the years.

>Is there a way to lower it?
A completely airgapped gaming PC that never accesses the internet or ever gains any connection with anything on a home network. Very expensive though, and you might as well just use an offline activation thing instead of paying 1000$+ on this method

>(or raise it to 100% in case I want to help the russkies)

>if you have none of the basic protections
Yes, definitely don't use HV if you're unable to install an adblocker and maybe keep the browser somewhat up to date, and also maybe look for better sources. Then again, it might be best for such people to stay away from pirated software in general.
>>
>>737743041
>Yes, definitely don't use HV if you're unable to install an adblocker and maybe keep the browser somewhat up to date
Not just this. Without your PC doing any of the lifting, you are basically (sad as this is) delegating all your security to google. And they don't give a fuck/are too full of incompetent pajeets to do anything about the majority of 0day exploits that float about, chewing through everyone's shit.

>Adblocker
is a good start, but we're not talking about annoyances like youtube ads here. You need a full, up-to-date set of scripts for violent/tampermonkey or similar. robust anti-malware software with automatic scans every time a peripheral device is connected, and at least weekly nightlies.

Of course it goes without saying that torrents and filesharing are completely out of the question.

You basically have to treat your PC like it has aids and keep it wrapped up warm forever. Because you gave it aids in order to play Stellar Blade.

Why don't I see more news about these big 0-days in Chromium which Google doesn't care about more often? I use Firefox anyway which is in some ways better (marginal, less incentive to target) and some ways probably worse (not as many "whitehats" looking for exploits).

Also you cannot load kernel mode code aka drivers with regular user privileges (not even signed ones, and it doesn't matter if Windows in test mode and if secure boot is enabled or not) in Windows so even if you have an arbitrary code execution exploit for Chromium you need to somehow elevate the browser first.

If we have learned anything over the last few years, it's that the three-letter-agencies are rudderless weirdos who just do things for the sake of doing them, with no reason rhyme or reason. They're not smart people playing a global game. They're drunk-on-power fuckwits pouring billions into dumb games with the final aim of promoting homosexuality in Botswana.

Someone, somewhere, probably got promoted by saying "we should have videogame crackers in our pocket", and when asked why responded with "because they're overwhelmingly Russian and can influence the younger generation". That probably SOUNDED good to boomer agent Johnson in the Seattle office, and he greenlighted it based on that.

cool, how does this fix my vBIOS

Tried to play HV Pragmata, it won't let me install mods. I'll just wait for the real crack.

Download original vBIOS for your card here https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/ (if vBIOS for your exact card isn't there use something with the same chip, RAM count and similar power limit, connector and fan setup). Use another card or an integrated GPU to boot the computer.

Now if the vBIOS is truly trojaned (yet passes all applicable security checks) instead of just not working things might get a bit more complicated and you might indeed be screwed. I'm not sure but I think even if you set the primary video device on boot to integrated some code from the card's option ROM might still be executed. Your only hope is a dual BIOS switchable card (flipping the switch while powered on should generally be safe) or using a separate flash programmer device, which is going to require diassembly of the GPU cooler and maybe some annoying soldering.

Why are people always so smug about this and love to tell everyone about it? You know this behavior is going to make things worse, right? The more noise you make about denuvo dying, the more it's going to force them to come up with something even worse, because investors will think they're missing out on potential sales and that more people are pirating than what's actually being pirated. This worse version of drm will have a bigger performance on impact for games in general.
Why do people online always have to make a big fuzz about this instead of keeping it on the down low?

Nice beaten wife mentality, but I enjoy Denuvo getting shit on.
There are not too many people being smug this, but rather the opposite.
If enough people cared about invasive DRM like this and boycotted the games that feature it, it wouldn't be a thing.
Instead most normies don't care (until their games become unplayable) while people like you tell others to stop talking ill about Denuvo.

Why do people keep saying IT'S NOT A CRACK IT'S A BYPASS? As if that somehow invalidates the fact the game has been pirated and is fully playable?

The fucking playstation 1 mod chip was a bypass if you wanna play with definitions. It didn't stop PSX piracy being massive though. Zoomers I swear!
>>
>>737753836
because in this context, a crack represents finding exploits in Denuvo's software that can be further exploited to remove or nullify it. These bypasses are just circumventing Denuvo while letting it continue to do what it does. Which is gay and shit.

It's like saying you have eliminated the need for a car in the US because you go out of your way to take a bus or train, but still keep your car, and still pay the car note

The best thing about this is that it's not hard to do. Crackers considered this since the beginning of Denuvo, but dismissed it as too dangerous and taking too many liberties with people's computers.

Now we're expected to think this "French girl living in Japan uwu" is a genius

Hard pass
>>
>>737754507

kirigiri is referring to a script that just automates dse patcher. DSE is off only for a few seconds during boot and back on as soon as the game loads. you can also just run it directly and toggle it yourself.

Since I've heard every anti piracy scare tactic in the book, including "copying macrovision VHS tapes will coat a chemical on your VCR heads and destroy them" I've been using it with zero issues to report. You kinda get that way when you've heard them all I'm afraid, the total absence of anything ever happening makes you more than a little cynical with time.

As for the post further up about them "waiting years to get enough people" that's kinda sounding like fundies saying they know the date of the rapture then explaining why it didn't happen after the date passes.

Why the fuck wouldn't you just join one of the many discord servers where they hand out thousands of activation tokens a day? Takes like 2 mins to active a game, then play it. None of this restarting your computer or fucking with the BIOS or anything dodgy like that.

The mind boggles

"puts your entire Windows OS into a VM state" is something Microsoft does by default anyway. You need to disable VBS/HVCI if you use AMD Ryzen Master btw., I just learned this today.

The hypervisor can indeed fake data to anything running on the computer but it only does so to games with Denuvo which have been patched to instruct it to do so.

"plug & play" ended up being a batch file aka script for retards to toggle Windows security features off & on.

This "security expert" is free to read the source code of the hypervisor if xhe's so worried about what it can potentially do. Xhe should have no problems understanding what it does, xhe's a zomg cYBerSecURITy expert who wOrKs In ThE CyBErSEcuRITY iNdUsTry after all. The AMD version is a very very simple and small C++ (actually pretty much plain C) program by modern standards. It only has 12 source code files of which 9 are headers without code and the total line count is very low. See pic for the cloc stats.

(Intel version is more needlessly complicated since they based it on a more complex project than SimpleSvm, couldn't find anything simpler usable for Intel's take on x86 virtualization extensions I guess?)

anon it's more about other programs having full access to the ring -1 layer. Disabling HVCI allows other programs to run undetected the same way as the Hypervisor cracks.

So maybe only keep HVCI disabled while running the game like they tell to do in the step-by-step instructions for retards? Oh that's right I forgot, there are 1094320940458265 pieces of malware already running on the average user's system just waiting to pounce on this momentary lapse in windOws cYberSEcuRiTy and your motherboard will explode.
