It's better than the remake for sure but not better than the original game.It follows pretty much the same beats of 4 (starter village section, midgame in a ancient traditional locale, wacky bond villain den lategame area) and has objective improvements over 4 eg. real time inventory but it just doesn't hit the same. I think the fact it was designed entirely around coop hurt it more than it helped.
