What Nintendo game from 2017 do you find the most nostalgic? Mine is Zelda BOTW and Splatoon
>>737699758None of them have stood the test of time.
>>737699758What kind of lineup is this?>port>shovelware gimmickfest>shovelware>port>failure>unfinished at launch>just… why?>port>port(?)>weakest entry>just awfulWhy does anyone look back fondly at this?
>2017>nostalgic
>>737700018I forgot BOTW was Wii U. What a sad picture.
>>737700018>port of a shit game>some forgettable shovelware>a couple actually good gamesI mean, isn't that every Nintendo year 1 library?
>>737700018it's better than now.
>>737699758Easily BOTW, I was addicted to that game for an entire month and neglected college and my health to beat it. And at the time I played it on Wii U and kept that at my grandparents' house so I would take it to and from my house and their house
>>737699758Spla2n. Worse than 1 and 3 but Splatoon is a powerful nostalgia vehicle for me. Everyone hating Pearl when she got revealed only for it to flip completely by the end of the game, everyone crying about inner agent 3 being too hard, shifty stations, the final fest. Fantastic seriesAlso maybe Mario + Rabbids in a weird way, I have not played it but I do remember how fucking bizarre that whole thing was. It got leaked ahead of time if I remember right, but it was like no way they'd do this shit, then what do you know, Miyamoto with that Ubisoft guy on stage. A tale of pre-E3 deathI also enjoyed Pokken, and I think Arms had some great fucking designs even if I didn't care much for the gameplay.Other games I either haven't played, just thought were alright, or outright dislike.
