Is it just me or this game is really fucking overrated? I had to wait until hypervisor to play it and I am disappointed, I mean seriously, wtf is this mediocrity? Game is a button masher, it's easy, and the story (assuming there is one) doesn't make any fucking sense unless you are literally chinese or somehow a weirdo who's into ancient chinese mythology and literature (and I really don't give a shit about it and never will). This is actually even worse than Wuchang, at least Wuchang was a proper soulslike and had tasteful fanservice. Also the music ranges from non-existant to complete shit. I fucking hate normies and their overrated games, this is Clair Obscur all over again, mediocre game with high production value overhyped by shit tasted normaloids.
The Chinese (and many Westerners who are politically aligned with China) bought it in masse to make a cultural and political statement about the supremacy of Chinese culture, not because the game was a truly groundbreaking game.

I thought it was great. Other than Armored Core 6 the best game I've played these past couple years. It really needed a monkey maker, I feel like that would have hooked in the more casual audience that stayed away.
