I remember liking the RPG parts but the RTS sections got increasingly bullshit the further you got.

>>737702208I fucking love this game, childhood nostalgia for me. I play it every 2 years or so, there's actually a very decent mod you can try and it makes the game like a new experience. Also everytime I try to beat it I end up plaing heavy armor and white magic and become one man army.

>>737705471yeah Spellforce Reimagined, sometimes it doesn't even feel like a mod it fits so well with the original version, you have new items, spells, enemies etc. also it makes it more harder to beat which is nice. Last time I played I imported my paladin (heavy armor and white magic) from the order of the dawn version to the phoenix one and I literally made an immortal character with shield and self healing around 35-36 level. Also I recommend playing this game with or without mods using commands to speed the game time or you are going to sink so much time into this.
