So how many of you did they manage to con?
>>737702674I've had an MVS since 2001.Used to work at Pop's arcade in downtown Minneapolis. When Lynette sold and closed it, she let us pretty much take or buy whatever we wanted.I bought the 6 bay MVS for $1000 and she just let me take a stack of 15 cartridges because I, working with the senior technician, spent most of my time fixing the joysticks and was buying the MVS cabinet. MVS games are and were pretty cheap while AES games were stupid expensive. And probably because I was the one who worked on the NeoGeo cabinets more than anyone else.I know it's not the same, but I preordered one and already have an adaptor to play the MVS cartridges on the AES and AES+ because the pinouts on the home systems is the same. My goal is to eventually have my own arcade in a room of my house. I guess I don't really grasp your disdain for the new Neo Geo. I'm glad they're putting it out.I have an old Midway cabinet that's pretty shot, screen has burn in of what looks like Galaga, I am putting a NUC/flat screen emulator setup into. Not going for the CoinOp cabinet, just the look/joystick and cabinet with marquee are good enough. I want to play it, not just have it be pretty.
>>737702674The whole "retro console mini" has been blown out.
November is a lot way away.Im fine waiting for official release.
>>737704418>I guess I don't really grasp your disdain for the new Neo Geo.The disdain is in the sloppiness on their homepage and nothing to back their claims. It's just a bunch of people assuming things such as it will use a clone 68000 & Z80 since those are plentiful. But ultimately we haven't seen jack shit.
