are you still mad /v/?
>>737703372I was never mad because I didn't play it at the time but ME2 was already cutting down on your choices from the first game, it should've been a sign for what's coming.
>>737703372No, not anymore. Seeing what Bioware devolved into, the company got its just deserts.
>>737703372Yes.
>>737703372>ME3Oh yeah that happened, really enjoyed the first two, never bothered with the third as I never play more than two games of any series (after two games every series goes to shit and the devs get lazy).
>>737703372Still mad.
>>737703372No. In comparison to most modern slop ME3 is a masterpiece. If you showed Mass Effect for the first time to a Game of Thrones fan, they'd think the ending was excellent in comparison.
>>737703372I want to pick the end I want, I don't want it to be influenced by something I did 40 hours earlier in the game that without guide I didn't know will change the ending in some unexpected way
>>737703372Yes. And it still hurts. I replay ME1 almost yearly.
There's nothing wrong with ME3 ending. You know the outcome of decisions that you've made during the game, all that's left is to pick what to do about reapears.
>>737704230>i dont want to think critically, I want a guide to think for me>how was I supposed to know that doing something retarded gave me a bad result???You will never walk this back. It is dogshit. It was shit back then, its shit now, it will be shit 10 years from now, and it will still be fucking shit long after humanity dies. Its fucking SHIT, you brainless zoomer FUCK. Shit. Shit. SHIT.
>>737704348>dude its ok that they lied>dude its ok that ME3 is fucking nonsensical>dude its ok that it was solved to dues ex machina never once mentioned previously>dude why should a choice based game have meaningul decisions?Kill yourself zoomer
>>737703883Mario.
>>737704420there's no thinking critically when options games give you often result in a different outcome than you expected, you pick the "disagree" option thinking he will just say no but your character starts talking shit about other person and you lose a quest or someone diesthis worked in times when we could see the whole dialogue line we pick but not anymore
The really retarded thing about ME3's ending is the ending system that pretty much everyone wanted was already in a Bioware game Dragon Age OriginsIt ends with title cards telling you what happens to all the characters and factions you've interacted with that tell you what happens to them and during the final mission you have gameplay systems in place to summon the various factions you've recruited They even include an actual good "Good bye everyone" scene with all your party members before you leave for the final stretch of the gameAnyone saying people were being "entitled" or had unrealistic expectations is fucking retarded they literally just had to do what they did in DA:Origins and with some of the cut content files we've found it's obvious that's what the original plan mostly was
>>737703372I never played any of them, but the meme was funny.
>>737703372It's kinda annoying, because if somebody wanted to do what Mass Effect promised today it would take 30 years with the current pace of game development.
>>737703372i never fully recovered
>>737704812That rarely if ever actually happens. You are almost certainly an autist/socially retarded.
>>737703372Yes. Fuck 'em.
Yeah but in retrospect its actually crazy how much worse they got
>>737703495I'm in this camp. I was able to enjoy Mass Effect 2, but I could plainly see the writing on the wall and lost faith that they could pull it off.
>>737708905>tfw I'm looking at an idiot
>>737703372I finished the trilogy 1,5 ago again. Yes the ending still sucks and I'm still mad.
>>737703372No, because MEHEM + Galaxy Expanded + Citadel Epilogue exist
>>737703372No, five minutes of a disappointing ending don't undermine the fun I had for almost a hundreds of hours across the three games before that moment. And that's just for one playthrough, and I had multiple in 1&2 by that point. You have to realize that back then the ultimate destination was still years away and people weren't just sitting around waiting for it to end to figure out if they liked "the trilogy" or not. The ending barely meant shit in the grand scheme of things.
>>737703372Imagine being this autistic over a video game. The poster of that would do nothing if he met anyone from Bioware in person btw.
>>737703372>It's been two years ago>"5 hours ago"Stop using retarded display settings for your retarded screencaps.
The ending itself wasnt the issue but the lack of a coherent plot through all the game. The ending is an asspull because there were no foundations to build a proper oneI hated ME3 all the way and not for those final minutes. Sad thing is that it was still a better game than anything Bioware made since then
