So I finally got around to this one and it's surprisingly good, I don't know if anyone else has tried the combination dating sim and detective novel thing.You have to tread a fine line because women are naturally manipulative but some are just lusting after an older man, while others may be deliberately trying to seduce you to throw you off your investigation. Still others might not trust you with certain details until you flirt with them a bit.Maybe staring at someone's breasts is the right move in certain circumstances, or maybe they deliberately took their shirt off to draw your eyes away from something incriminating. Both occurred. The first time the game asked me if I wanted to ogle some breasts I figured "Why not, it couldn't hurt?"I got suspicious a minute later though and reloaded to check. She had been attempting to distract me and looking at her breasts mean you miss some evidence sitting in plain sight.You also have to choose between the dating sim elements and the detective elements. The principal, my childhood friend, got wiped off the list of suspects pretty early and even if she's not as cute as she is in flashbacks I'd want to date her since she's not the murderer but if I wanted to solve the mystery I should ignore her and go on dates with women I DO suspect of being the killer to try gain information. Tough call.So yeah, the better detective game that came out this month, I think. The other one I played was Moses and Plato.

I don't know how well I am doing at this mystery solving stuff maybe I should just give up and focus all efforts on banging the gym teacher so at least I don't fuck up both thing simultaneously. I'm playing sort of close to my real personality, I was really confused when I had an option to intervene with the birthday candle thing. What the fuck am I supposed to do when you can't even blow out your own candles? Blow them out for you? How would that even help? Nah fuck that. The bodyguard who showed up when she failed to extinguish them was weird too. I wonder what the deal there was.

Shit maybe it was the principal I ruled out from the beginning on a mostly flawed assumption. I don't know if I'm going to solve it this time, but if I nailed the detective games every time they wouldn't be fun I suppose.
