If not, Sigma 1 (doesn't matter which version) is a decent compromise and still a great game. For 2, yeah, Vanilla is the only way. some mods rework both sigma 2 and black 2 into being closer to vanilla, but still not the same. 3 only has RE which so yeah. I'd tell you to just grab Master Collection if you just want the easiest way possible, 2/3 games is not a bad deal.
