Metal Gear superplayer here with Big Boss clears in every game. This is the peak of arcadelike action games on the PS2. It mogs any button-masherlike such as DMC and God Hand in terms of mechanical depth, boss fights, difficulty, and ranking system.

Completing 2, 3, and 4 on the highest difficulty is piss easy thanks to the tranq pistol. The bosses go down easily when you unload your arsenal on them, but the overpowered tranq pistol is all you need for regular stealth sections.
Yeah but you have to play as gayden instead of based solid snake so the game sucks dude

None of these are difficult games. The radar in MGS1 and 2 kinda makes stealth a triviality.

What makes me sympathetic for Raiden is that he's essentially Snake if Snake had never been through MG1 and 2 and started as a rookie going through MGS... and still had to kill Big Boss at the end.
