I've stopped playing new vidyas and spent all of march and april playing old franchises I skipped as a child>Klonoa>Ridge Racer>Gran Turismo>Disaster Report>Ape Escape>Dead or Alive>Ninja GaidenAnd I'm simply having a blast. Right now I'm playing Klonoa. I'm right at the end. What a significant game. I have Klonoa 2 queued up as well, and the GBA game is on Switch. After that i have a couple more to check out>God Hand>Fatal Frame>Valkyria Chronicles 1~3>Silent Hill 1~4This inspires me more than anything recent. The creativity and game design ideas in these games outclass almost anything made today.
>>737714112i'm doing the same, but I bought an old CRT tv and some old consoles to play it as original intented (but with pirated games tho), I suggest to play those games this way, it's such a joy to do. You don't have to buy original games, just buy the console and add the proper mod to play copies. (such as summer cart for n64, or xstation for ps1, or a modded wii for gamecube+snes+nes+wii games).
