What are some ps1 or ps2 comfy turn based rpgs worth checking out? Im talking as casual as possible. Ive been REALLY sweating in multiplayer games recently and I just want something relaxing to play at the moment.

FF7 - It's notoriously easy.

The obvious answer is any final fantasy. Suikoden 1-3 are all good too and not too hard, but to get the real ending you have to get all 108 characters. The first game is short so replaying it isn't too bad but you may want to at least check if there are any missable characters before you play if you don't want to replay.

Legend of Mana is a really good RPG/sidescroller beat em up with beautiful art, but it's made up of multiple story chains more than a main story. Xenogears is a great read and world but isn't the most fun to play.

Those alone would last weeks so they would be a good start

Play the spyro trilogy, they're very easy and the appeal is collecting gems is quite satisfying and the music is consistently good.
