>Move to the big city
>Free-play arcade, niche game stores, retro game stores, imported game stores, used game stores, new game stores
>All in walking distance
Why is this all uncommon here in America? You only see it in cities like NYC and Chicago.

You don't see it in NYC. Arcades on the east code are either:
Fighting games
Ancient Namco slop
Chuck E Cheese tier

Games stores are just games top and the like and they are dogshit.

And this isn't a new development. Dudes live next to the one galloping ghost in existence and think everywhere is like that.

Because you've never been to most of America. 99% of America is just road for cars and nowhere for people to go. It's just roads for wagies to drive to work with. There's no sidewalks or public spaces, or anything really, except slop for normies, like McDonald's for wagies to ingest the bare minimum daily toxins to survive long enough to work until they retire and then immediately die, and there's also clubs for braindead leftist drunken normies to party at while they blast their eardrums out and do drugs in public.
There's only a few important cities that have interesting things to do in them lol.

This is Emporium tho not Galloping Ghost.
And NYC has them, I know it. People I used to know there told me.
Then again that was like 2010...

Anon, Philly and NYC are an hour away from me in either direction. Name a single arcade in this radius that has a single shmup cab. I will go there right now. Go ahead. I'll wait.

Here's what western arcades are actually like

Tampa has a decent selection of game stores and arcades. But Tampa like most of Florida is a car-centric hellhole so it's a 15-45 minute drive to the various stores and going outside between April and October is annoying in general.

There are free play & retro arcades in south central PA, but they aren't maintained that well.

>>Free-play arcade,
Requires a high trust society. You put "free" on anything with any level of perceived value, and the type of people you do not want to attract will become attracted. You ever haggle with a Haitian at a yard sale? You don't want to.

Also, this is mostly fighting games if I remember correctly.
>>
>>737722858
Free to play as in you purchase a ticket to get in and now you have unlimited credits for all the games.

This. There used to be one in my town but certain sticks and buttons on some cabinets got ruined by brownoid teenagers.
