Was this game's story supposed to be for an anime at first? It felt like it. It was still fun, a good effort for a new series, which would surely improve with a sequel.

Half of the plot's issues stem from the fact that there is no "neutral authority" to make verdicts on cases, but having the corrupt city-controlling Megacorp act like there is, despite there being no logical reason why they shouldn't just imprison or execute you on sight

The other half stem from the decision to have the culprits fucking die when you catch them in the dream world, meaning there's zero payoff for solving the mystery
