I still play Nuclear Throne on a weekly basis. It’s the perfect warmup because you reach the end boss and loop the game in like 10 minutes.
This was a weird transitional period. Most games were crossgen because PS4 was stillborn beyond winning the PR war so it felt more like an extension of the PS3. Games like Dragon's Crown, Alien Isolation, Bloodborne and Odin Sphere Leifthrasir were cool, and some good shit was happening on handhelds like A Link Between Worlds and Tearaway, but this was definitely a dry period on the whole.
