These games get strange reactions all across the board. I've seen harsh critics who are upset it was too easy for them. I've seen someone say Mario Odyssey looked boring, they love DK Bananza. I've seen someone say DK Bananza looks boring, they love Mario Odyssey.
This terrified the shit out of me, they put this in a kid's game! The franchise is ruined because Nintendo doesn't do this anymore.
The only reason this game gets praise is because of soillenials soiing out about the k rool twist. If k rool wasn't in the game it would be treated like the slightly above mediocre 6.5/10 it actually is

You can see this in how a lot of internet autists are scrambling for any sign of a new 3D Mario despite Bananza's release. I would love to see a new 3D Mario, but I'm not looking for one like it's water in a desert because Bananza released not even a year ago (and I also have SM64 romhacks to play).
the pacing of new gameplay ifeas and difficulty is whack, lots of people say they got bored early and moved onif you stick with it, it gets better. If this is SMB1 to a future SMW then it'll have been worth it
