She didn't really fit the narrative of the story.Everything always comes back to how vengeance is bad and you end up dying or paying for your sins and violent ways, then she just comes along, acting almost exactly like Mini-Micah, gets away with everything and is treated like the second coming. It was an insanely bizarre choice considering most of the other women were pretty well written. Either she should have died in the end, or given up before the death of those who killed her husband and moved on to a better life. Now - if the story was slightly different and it was more of a generic "dude cool action and death shooting bad guys and riding off into the sunset", I wouldn't have given a shit about her story.
She's a Mary-Sue and writer's pet who outguns and outcowboys everyone else because girlboss energy fueled by grief and traumaI'm not saying she should've turned to whoring like the other girls in the camp, but turning her into a cliché of a hardass female bounty hunter wasn't it eitherShould've had her moments and later get her revenge, but perhaps without the inhuman siege of that homestead where she fought through dozens of armed men, all just to showcase how big of a badass she is
