Blinx was early enough that Xbox hadn't really solidified its identity as the Halo shootan console yet and the conventional wisdom carried over from previous gens was that you needed a flagship scotformer.

Very dull game with very little going for it. It was clunky, yet not very challenging. And any challenge that did come from the game was due to how shitty the movement and engine felt as a whole. Why would any child into platformers get an Xbox for Blinx when the PS2 had Jak and Sly, and the Bing Bing wahoo lunchbox had Sunshine?
