*dies and start double clicking when you're trying to hold/drag with mouse1*
buy corsair faggot
they started using new optical switches so this literally can't happen to my deathadder v3 pro
>>737742643I have bought Basilisk V3 Pro, like month ago? Still amaze myself how in the hell i have managed all this time (25years+ of gaming) without wireless mouse. IT'S SOO SMOOTH and FREE FEELING.I also bought shitty huntsman v3 pro TKL analog, still have problems with adapting to these sensitive keys, but it's okay i guess when you change settings.Don't feel shame that i have fall into razer trap.
>>737742643just open it and put electric tape where the dent is
>>737742729I recently replaced the switches on my chinkslop MMO mouse (got it in November 2016, so 9 years old), soldering in new ones. Works fine now despite it being old.I don't mind getting something new, if this one dies for another reason, but the rebind scripts have me over a barrel. If I get a different one I'l have to remap the extra 12 buttons across all the programs and games I've alraedy created. I'm more liable to just get the same one I got in 2016. Just checked and the model is still available, shieet.
>>737742643Have a DeathadderV2 for about 4 years now and it still works just fine
Used to be that I'd buy a cheap mouse and be able to use it for years despite abusing the fuck out of them gaming. But now this year alone I've gone through a few mice already because they can barely go a month without starting to double click randomly
>>737742643I have been using this mouse for years with no issues
>>737742643that mouse has optical switches and cannot double click
>>737742643The days of doubleclicking are long gone unless you're buying the absolute worst, cheapest piece of shit mouse every time.
What headset do i get now? They dont make Hyperx cloud 2 anymore
>>737742643My razer viper(wired) still works. Only thing fucky right now is the mouse wheel scrolling up and down every once in a while. But a spray of contact cleaner usually fixes it.
>>737742729>>737750175>>737745853The problem now are the scroll wheels.
>>737751324That's been happening to my DAV3 intermittently for the last year. Not often enough to bother taking it apart though.
>>737742643clean your filthy dead skin covered mouse
Just buy a mouse that's easy to modify into changing mouse switchesI do solder these anyways, but now logitech mice usually have hotswap boards on aliexpress, you grab one of those, put some huanos in there and there you go. You can even put silent mouse switches in there. The only mouse I have that died pretty quickly to where the switches being good wouldn't solve any problems was the Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed. Trashiest mouse. Shape is great and that's pretty much all about it. Took a while to wake up, had connectivity issues, there was no onboard memory manager so you had to install razer spyware... eventually it just stopped working altogether.
>>737742729worst scroll wheel of all time award
>>737751595is a toothbrush and isoprop ok for this?
my 70 year old microsoft optical mouse is dying, i'm looking for a cheap mouse, is this shit worth the $34?
>>737751209Fuck this piece of shit for peeling trash "leather" all over my room.Anyway, I just went straight to audiophile stuff afterwards, started cheap and basic with the hd650sNeed to get a modmic or some other external mic though
>>737752664Honestly a lot of headphones will have the same problem. I suggest you look for pads for any headphones that have actual leather on them (from aliexpress instead of buying them from jewkoni)
>>737752287use an alcohol based wet wipe
>>737752287I'd recommend 70% alcohol
>>737751441my razer viper v2 pro had scroll wheel issues after about 2 years but i fixed it by cleaning it with IPA. its been working fine for a year since
>>737751595>>737752287when I replaced the left and right mouse switces on my chinkslop MMO mouse (posted earlier), I also dis-assembled it and put everything in the dishwasher minus the parts that shouldn't.Put the small parts inside that plastic rectangle holding the knives and forks. Came out all good. You can even dishwash your mousemat, I have some basic bitch dollar mousemat and it came out fine. I actually wanted it destroyed so I have an excuse to get a new mousemat so took the risk, but it wants to stay with me.
>>737751209i had the hyperx cloud 2 until it finally crapped itself after 10 years. however i wanted a wireless headset to replace it and found out that there were very few decent options and all pretty expensive. i went for the astro a50s on a sale and they turned out to be very good. they sound better than the average cheapo studio headphones in the 100-150€ range, and the microphone is very nice for a headset, like pretty close to my 100€ condensor mic, so i just tend to use the headset mic now. so in the end it was expensive but had good value.i find getting studio headphones to be a crapshoot. like i guess they are relatively inexpensive and theoretically the audio is good, but they're not really meant for your normal gaming/music needs. i always had to fuck with the audio to make them sound nice instead of weirdly sharp or otherwise uncomfortable. however the astro a50s felt natural on the first listening, like very close to the hyperx cloud 2s in terms of profile. it seems like the whole discussion over headsets and headphones is completely fucked up by redditor audiophiles repeating their usual maxims like "uhhh headsets are trash bro get these BossaNova EEDGK2316 studio headphones they're amazing" said by some guy who has tried exactly one pair of
just bought a logitech superlight x or whateverthe fuckgonna replace my superlight2and boguht a TKL rapid low profile
I bought the "ATK Dragonfly A9 Plus V2 Wireless" mouse like a month ago to replace my old Logitech G Pro. It's almost the exact same grip and so far I'm not dissatisfied with my purchase. Clicks feel slightly heavier and the software that you can optionally install with it is not intrusive (although I block all internet connections from and to it)I'll see if it survives this year
>>737742643surely your mouse also comes with extra switches that are replacable in 15 seconds?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6tol1cOy5I
i just buy a g502 and if it gets dirty i buy another g502 i don't even use the new hero versions the old ones seem better, feels like there's been 0 innovation in mouse accuracy or design in the last 15 years
>>737751209I bought Cloud 3 after my DT 990 Pros cable died (inside), they're very fine for the 60€ I paid for but I really should try to fix the cable
>>737742643anyone know if the replacement wireless receivers on amazon work for these? how's replacing the wireless receivers even suppose to work though.
Just bought this thing but it's not arrived yet. I'm sick of mice that have rubber on them because they start to rot after a couple years and get horrible to try and clean>>737754036That's the one I have now, and the texture on the right and left of the grip gets fucking disgusting. Why would they make it divoted like that
>>737754036its ok to buy one of the newer mouse designs bro. no one should be using a 152g mouse (with optional extra weights lol) in 2026>hurr durr but i like itno you dont, you just have no frame of reference because you have been buying the same brick for 15 years
boughted 400 bucks
>>737754110deathadder has a horrible shape. it's from an era of mouse design when everything was made with a big gay hump to accommodate a wrong desk height.if you liked the g502's shape, get a logitech superlight (about the same profile) or a razer viper (slightly lower profile). the razer viper v2 pro is my favorite mouse but atm it seems like razer is really testing how much they can charge for their viper v3s and v4s so i'd avoid getting one unless you can get it for cheap
I dread the day my G502 dies. Logitech went to shit and every other mouse manufacturer sold me garbage before. I don't want to roll the dice again.
>>737742643My logitech g400s is dying, what's the closest thing to a successor?
>>737754314They're both pretty damn expensive but I found a refurbed pro x superlight 2. Those grips are plastic and not rubber, right? It's hard to tell from the images but I might cancel the order and switch to that one. I liked the profile of the 502 so I'll probably cancel the order on the deathadder and go with the superlight instead, thanks
>>737754276how small is that keyboard IRL?
>>73775461765% no numpad
>>737754519probably like a Logitech MX518 repro but really, no gaming mouse company really makes mice like that anymore because the industry has largely moved on to lighter, lower profile ambi mice, and for good reason, because they are simply better and strain your hand/wrist less, especially during gamingif you are not poverty gaming then i would just get a logitech superlight and see if you can get used to it. after like a month of using it, the G400 will probably feel pretty awful to go back to
>>737754431why are all you boomers still using logishit, this is the age of chinesium
>>737754820Exactly because we don't want to support Chinese shit that doesn't have our companies branded on them. How the fuck do you expect us to stimulate the economy?
>>737750573or you buy logishit
>>737754867do you live in Malaysia? because otherwise none of the brands stimulate your economy.
>>737754867logitech is a swiss company that presumably produces all their products in china
>>737755106>>737755198I source locally from stores that pay up the chain... Anons do you not understand logistics? But of course you would be some wumao/thought police working slave wages to make CPC look good, kek. Commies failing to understand economy never gets old.
>buy mouse from benq>starts randomly double clicking one month before warranty ends>spend like an hour getting a recording of it happening because they require one and it only happens sporadically>the terms of the warranty state that if their Highly Skilled Technicians don't notice the problem, they'll just ship it back to me, and if it gets damaged in shipping I'm screwed>if they do notice it they'll send me a refurb mousewhy even have a warranty? these terms are awful
>>737755251You may as well save your money buying over priced peripherals and spend it in restaurants more of the money will stay in the country, but no one is actually that much of a moral fag that they pretend going to walmart is saving America
My buddy got me one of these a couple months ago. Massive step up from the G203's I would churn through
>>737755251have fun using chink shit while paying for tariffs, lmao
>>737755487>I'm totally not a politically motivated dishonest bad faith troll that shills for 8bitdo and game sar every second on this basket weaving forum vibes.take a shower chinkshit you smell to the high heavens.
>>737755487Actually the tariff money is being refunded back to American companies so that they can invest it in more innovation
>>737755350warranty is almost always a joke across all industries, just like insurance and the idea of paying towards your own pension
>>737755583at least they have to legally follow up with it locally here and they just replace the broken thing or switch it to something else in the same price budget.
>>737751696>brings up the superlight out of nowhere
>>737755563lol that's a lot of projection>>737755574sure, but not to you
>>737754789>logitech superlightI liked the g400s because I have a big hand but I'll try this out, thank you anon.
>>737755874>ree you must be doing the same thing as I am for troll farms!.nope, you and your troll-farm chinkshit slave are the only ones doing that here. Patriotism is a foreign concept to a Chink just like Belief, Religion and Good-Faith practices.
>>7377559908bitdo is better than 1st party controllers you are just coping over being a paypig
people unironically im 2025+1 and 4 months STILL BUY Razer/Logitech/Steelseries/ASUS/Corsair etc instead of legit objectively superior china brands you either buy from Alibaba or their website because they have no resellers outside china? The fuck is wrong with you?
>>737742643Wireless has always been a meme. For ethernet, for controllers, for mouses, for headphones. I think less of someone's character if they only use wireless.
>>737755763yeah i think thats the only case where warranty really works. if you can physically show up to your local retailer and be like "this thing is fucking busted give me a new one NOW" then they will help you. but sending emails to some chinese company in zhezhung and trying to hold them up to their word is basically useless because they can just ignore and annoy you with ridiculous terms or stipulations until you give up>>737755985if you're coming from palm gripping some big ass mouse then you do have to prepare for the fact that modern gaming mice aren't really made to be held like that. i used to be a palm grip kinda guy but nowadays i use a pic related way of gripping my razer viper. i basically rest my entire hand on the mouse and move it around like that, which is manageable because the mouse is low profile and light. it did take a while to get used to it but it feels infinitely better that way. when i actually play games then i switch between holding the mouse by my knuckles and finger grip depending on what i'm doing
>>737756823is this like the in-ear monitor thing on /g/ where thirdies larp as consumers by buying $15 crap on alibaba
>>737757159NTA. I also have a viper. The way I hold mine is a hybrid of finger tip and knuckle. Tips are gripping and manipulating the mouse itself, hardly and wrist movement. Side buttons get clicked by their respective knuckles.
>>737757863yea thats kinda what i do in shooters. i usually hold it by the knuckle and then i switch over to finger grip when i need to really make a pinpoint shot. it really is a great shape for how versatile it is.
I bought Zowie FK2 in 2018. I use it for 8-16 hours every day.It just works. No double clicking, no scroll issues, no cable issues.
>>737751209I can corroborate with the A50's. Very expensive but super happy with mine after my hyperx just became too damaged. Only complaint with the A50 thus far is the dock has charging contacts; Lots of times I have to shift it around to make sure it can charge.
>>737758125Another feature I like about it is that the DPI button is on the bottom, so you're not accidentally changing it in the heat of the moment. I will say though, I should've just saved the ten bucks or whatever and gotten the wired version. The battery only lasts like 3 days and after maybe a month I just turned it off, took the dongle out and keep it wired 100% of the time. At least I have the option to use it wireless if I ever need to use it on a different machine, I guess.
>>737757159nta but i have 24cm hands so claw is all i can do even with the biggest mice
>>737755990still, no one brought that shit up except you, I don't even know what those buzzwords mean, but keep seething, mr. projector
>>737742643>double clickingit's not a logishit mouse though>>737742689>corsairi bought a corsair scimitar and it had scroll wheel issues that are apparently common. tried to use their warranty and it was a massive pain in the assi hate razer's gay fucking gamer branding but their mice have been more reliable than other brands in recent years.
>>737760349You haven't had enough razer mice
>>737742643>wirelessfaggot
>>737751209i haven't bought gamer headsets in a long time but the last time i did like 20 years ago they were pretty shit so now i buy separate headphones and mics. i like my sennheiser hd 560s headphones and my blue snowball is decent.
>>737751209HyperX turned to shit the moment HP bought them out.
>>737760565how many is enough? i understand that razer used to be shit but i've owned a couple in the past 5 years and they were much better than the other brands of mice that i owned in the same time span. i only replaced my razer naga trinity because the faceplates would sometimes disconnect randomly but that just required cleaning the contacts so it was much less annoying than double clicking or scroll wheel issues.
>>737760630just buy a mouse that can be both wired and wireless
