It was pretty much mediocre, and going back and exploring its library more thoroughly now, my opinion on it hasn't changed.There are pretty much no great games on it. Even it's 'actually good' games are still meh compared to what you can play on the SNES if you exclude the all time classics. Like, Ecco the Dolphin is more or less the best it offers, and that is nothing like Metroid at all (despite certain people delusionally thinking it is while being level based). The Megadrive Shinobi games are jank as fuck and all round bleh action games that are far inferior to both Ninja Gaiden and Metal Slug.Getting Nintendo and Sony systems absolutely trounced anything I could experience from SEGA by orders of magnitude.
