Waiting for mods. I always prefered Oblivions levelling system and quests, but I cant stand how few weapons and armours there are in the world and how it scales in vanilla, and it is easily one of the ugliest games I actually like

think about it, they got a old ass game and just slapped Unreal Engine on top of it. hell, you dont even need to make sure the visuals are working well
i know this is just a remaster, but the fact that this game in particular got so much praise and hype with so many buying on launch over nothing will show them they dont need to put effort on anything
if there was any hope for elders scroll 6 they got canned as soon this was a success

I like it. I loved the original, but it's old as fuck now. The remaster looks good and plays fine. Yes, there are some bugs, but I was able to do literally every questline just fine without using the console that I can recall. I liked all the changes except for the Endurance-based HP regen; I thought it was too good and makes Restoration pretty useless.

Daggerfall and Morrowind both feel empty and boring to me in the same way though. Those games you just have to do fast travel differently, but Bethesda didn't really do walkability better until Fallout 3. Skyrim is the only TES game where I feel you can just walk and count on finding something cool. Oblivion has stuff to find, but it's really damn spread out by comparison.

The remaster fixes that by giving you +5s regardless of skill levels. If anything, leveling quickly makes you overpowered because you can quickly max your useful stats and then eventually cap everything. Plus you level a lot faster because minor skills count toward level ups in the remaster.

I didn't play the old game so I cannot compare it but I feel like this is just a graphics upgrade and the janky controls are straight from two decades ago.

I love skyrim but this game didn't click with me at all. it's so boring.

Literally was enjoying this game, but the crusader armor bullshit made me drop it. Dont know what the fuck the devs were thinking. "Lets make an armor where as soon as you do something morally questionable is removed and cant be equipped again till you to go to 9 shrines all over the map that you cant fast travel to to re equip it"
