Sure you have a dedicated dodge, but ironically having a dodge animation tends to make combat worse at times since the devs have to give enemies insane tracking or instant moves to balance it out. Keep in mind I'm talking strictly within vanilla, and Skyrim's vanilla combat while basic as shit at least has some nuance to it.Archery sadly is lacking compared to Skyrim, even moreso when it comes to stealth. I'm especially appalled at just how slow arrows are for both the player and the enemies.Magic is magic, and whatever playstyle worked in Skyrim works in Tainted Grail, aka kiting. I still think it's a great game, despite being even rougher and lacking in certain areas compared to Skyrim especially in the third actbut it is what it is.

If they would somehow close the gap by me accidentally walking into a wall or something just spam your surplus of quick dodges and reverse the direction. Rinse and repeat. Very boring, but effective.
