>tfw indie devs are making an OoT-like dungeon maker with movement tech and speedrunning mechanics Have you thanked an indie dev today?

Anyone else really starting to hate both indie games and trannies? Because I am
i hate the dungeons of zelda, i only like exploring the overworld.so this doesn't look like it's for ME!
Sounds cool, disregard the tranny in denial above
>>737829829Neat, a dungeon maker sounds difficult to support long term because unlike Mario or whatever, the joy of playing Zelda comes from discovery and unique tools and items suited to the dungeon's design.
wtf? I love games now.
>>737830004Same here, and I'm actually making a game like that right now. Dungeons are always such a low point in Zelda games.

My clitty started leaking and I yelled “TRANS RIGHTS” when I saw the movement tech
What is going on in this thread, lmaois it the speedrunning remark that's causing it?
I think people really underestimate the impact of the sound, character, and landscape designs when they look at OoT and ponder why it was so good. These indie games never impress me because the character models and textures seem deliberately plain, the sounds and music are positively mid at best, and there's often zero landscapes beyond "generic dungeon" or "cave". I love OoT, but the raw gameplay isn't enough for me to bother with clones.
