I found a switch copy of No Man's Sky while I was downtown today. No case or anytihng, just chilling. I'm hoping it's a creepypasta type situation but in case it's not, how is the game itself? I've never played it.

I just turned the game on, and found hyper realistic aliens with hyperrealistic blood coming out of their hyper realistic eyes, and they looked directly into the camera the entire time Whispering my name, only it was in some kind of alien language, but I could understand it because this physical copy of the game was made directly for meeeee. Help me HP Lovecraft's cat I'm going insaaaaaaaane.

taste it, it might be coated in LSD
>>
Can I have it
>>

Starbound in 3d.
It has a lot of features, not sure how well the switch 1 version holds up. Switch 2 was playable when i tried it. But you have to enjoy the grind of sandbox games to enjoy it.

I would find a Lost & Found and give it to them.

Game is really good

Shame you’re playing it the worst way possible though

Start on hardcore mode trust me
>>
Worst case scenario someone dumped it to play on the mig and the moment you use it your console will be banned.
Not work the risk for such a shit game, I would sell it.
>>
>>737850079
You better hope not for creepypasta shit here. If someone dumped that game on Switch it will brick your Switch 2.

No Man's Sky is basically a mobile game. It has those typical mobile game mechanics where you wait for time to pass to increase stats, and then make those stats grow faster and faster.
Ground combat is terrible. Air combat is super simplistic too, there's really no technique or skill you'll develop there.
It's a game for casual exploration, collecting a few things, boosting stats, and passing the time.
I don't recommend it.
If there were truly interesting vistas, both on the planets and in space, I'd say it would be worth it for the artistic aspect, but not even that exists. The graphics are pretty bad and also have that mobile game look. You won't see massive mountain ranges with snow-capped peaks rising above the clouds, or the rings of a planet like Saturn made up of billions of rock fragments. There's nothing interesting like that in the game. It's really just a shallow game for people who aren't picky.

Does anyone remember that creepypasta about some racing PC game where the guy says he was projectile vomiting profusely? That shit made me die laughing like the retard was trying to make it sound all serious while describing how much he threw up
I can't remember what the game was

Good genetics

I'll start it in airplane mode (because flying, get it?) and check for ghosts. If it does nig-brick it I just contact Nintendo and say I bought it used. Badda-bing-bing-wahoo.

Bad genetics

Sounds annoying. I'll go in with low expectations, but for the price of free, and no dlc / micro transactions I might get something out of it.

a suvival crafting sandbox type game where every world and galaxy you visit is procedurally generated.

its got some neat things going for it exploration wise but dont expect much in the gameplay department.
