Zoomers grew up with RE4. So for them RE2R is Leon's origin story and the sequel to Leon's story, they don't care about the franchise itself. They just want Leon saving the planet over and over again.

Well they are going to be disappointed when all the next games will have no Leon.
CV Remake = Chris and Claire
0 Remake = Rebecca and Billy
1 Remake = Chris and Jill
5 Remake = Chris and Sheva (and Jill I guess)
The dlc for Requiem will probably be Chris too
Its likely RE10 will be Chris too
