What the fuck, aren't Tomb Kings and Lizardmen in the Old World? I'm not big on WHF, but I swore I remember shit like Lizardmen and Skaven having huge beef between each other from when I played in Vermintide circles, and I know a buddy who was big on Tomb Kings in Total Warhammer.

Skaven and Lizardmen hate eachother, but the rats exist nearly everywhere in the world while 99% of the Lizardmen are in the bottom half of the New World(Central and South America)

The cut off of where everyone considers the southern section of the Old World ends is conveniently right where the Tomb King's land begins, they aren't too relevant in the old world until the NuHammer reboot from what I hear.

Last time I played this it was as a vampire a few years ago. Raising the corpses of my enemies as undead after battle was pretty cool.
I liked what I saw so I decided to wait a few more years for the mod to get more content and polish.

Yeah, so far after this update I've played

Extremely powerful. The career ability doesn't really work seemingly, but it doesn't matter, because dwarves are insanely strong just on their own. Best armour in the game, fantastic melee infantry, fantastic gunners, and cannons on top of that. Their guns are incredibly satisfying to use, too. Especially the flamethrower.
>Bretonnian Knight
Kinda sucks, weakest career I've played so far. Bretonnian peasant units are shit as well, the noble line is powerful, but prohibitively expensive to upgrade. It is a fairly fun playthrough solely due to the fact that it's kind of a struggle to fight off the orcs and Mousillion, as opposed to the usual one sided curbstomp.

It's solid. The career skill lets you play around in melee without a risk, and all the lesser undead bonuses and party size increases actually make them usable. You can lead a gigantic army of shitty skeletons and just support them from behind. Unfortunately though you don't really seem to get quite enough troops from battles to cover the losses you usually get, but I guess it's only fair.
I'm thinking about trying out the Empire's Knight of the Old World career next.

Their troops are incredibly powerful. They all have 35% magic and fire resist, too. Runesmiths get something similar to spellcasting, but you need to place an anvil of doom on the battlefield, and can only cast when near it, so it's quite limited. But you get some powerful buffs and a powerful damaging spell. As for enchanting, dwarves can put 1 more enchantment on their equipment than other races. Enchanting mechanics are new in the update, too, and everyone has their own unique enchantments.
