I'm playing FF7 for the first time ever in 2026.Which looks better? "Normal" field models (top) or Chibi field models (bottom)? Obviously the original game uses a "chibi" style.

the chibis because they actually coherently blend in with the rest of the gameworld around them. cloud and barret completely stand out from their surroundings & the still-chibi NPCs otherwise.
