Geo cant be Mega Man because Mega Mans powers are inherently innate and central to the character's being. He is a super adaptoid with limitless potential and a righteous heart given by his creator. He wants to do good and protect and make his family proud. He has as 1:1 close to human emotions as a robot could and that is what makes him special from his contemporaries im his universe, because with that said he has an innate desire to take immediate action against anyone doing harm to the people he loves or to humanity. Thomas Light did not build him to be a battle robot. But it was Rock who pleaded to go out and be modified to protect his home. He is uniquely brave with a strong sense of justice. Mega Man dies when he dies, he is 1 of 1. Geo is a regular horomonal human teen shaped and molded by a personal tragedy and powered by an outside force, a far superior extraterestrial effectively immortal electromagnetic space parasite needing a willing humanoid host to fully draw out the extent of their own powers in the corporeal realm. He, and everyone in the Starforce universe that engage with AM/FM ians in EM Wave changes and the like are under a type of techno demonic posession. The question is, what happens to Geo, or Omega Xis when Geo inevitably DIES? Omega is effectively immortal. Will he find a new slave to become "Mega Man" or will omega Xis force Geo to continue to live on in a zombified state..? What will the new "Mega Man's" morals be? Will he be more willing to listen to the technodemon that Omega Xis is? Will Omega Xis, already naturally agressive and greedy, be shaped to be careless about human hosts after thousands of years of differing perspectives and people dying? When you start asking these questions you start to really stray away from what the character of Mega Man is. And reduce him down to nothing more than a fancy alien costume.
If there's ever another Star Force or Battle Network, the bosses should be the Star Droids. They're cool because they're aliens and obscure.
