Just beat the game a couple of days ago. First things first: Lucy sexo.
Now, onto my thoughts on the story. Despite there being tons of story content, I feel like the plot isn't as fleshed out as it could be, and some characters feel like they're just "there" to fill out the party.
I have mixed feelings about the ending being a mix of Soma and Danganronpa. On top of that, the betrayer plot point seemed to get dropped entirely. It was Narhan, right? Maybe they'll explore that in the sequel.
Phoenix's backstory also felt strange to me. It was weirdly edgy with her dead becoming a deadbeat drunk that cut one of her legs, and her country is basically lifted from the manga Ikigami, where a kid is chosen every few years to die in order to teach people the value of life. Having all of this dumped on the player at the last second makes me think the author just crammed in a bunch of elements from stories he likes, rather than developing his own ideas and creative voice.

Truly a mystery.

Lifts too many plot points from Danganronpa Another 2, but otherwise pretty cool story, pretty much Soma anime version. It helps that this is a genre where most developers completely ignore the story. Looking forward to DE.
