There are police cars but they don't chase you yet.

The hardware requirements are very low:
Windows XP
256MB RAM
128MB integrated GPU
Single core 1.5GHz

But there won't be browser version of the game because it's a commercial game, you will have to pay money for it or torrent it. It's a Steam game.

The release (Early access) will be in 2027 or 2028.
It has to be shilled right now because Gaben requires you to get thousands of wishlists before release if you want a success. When you release the game the people who wishlisted get email message that game is ready.

The graphics are colorful and "baby", but the game has advanced physics and AI, so it doesn't target just kids.
>>
>>737873802
I highly recommend changing the steam banner of your game from the AI image you have right now your feelings on AI is irrelevant but it leaves a bad taste in people's mouths

Carnage with a truck.

>>737878428
>cars don't roll
>so when the busses and trucks crash around and the cars start spinning like crazy it just looks silly
The cars don't roll because the game has 2D car deformation system. It would be hard to combine it with the cars rolling. The cars in GTA 1 and 2 also didn't roll.

>Flatout + BeamNG + GTA IV, but in 2D.

so it's like gta2 but boring shit?
>>
Watching the videos here, the game seems really slow. It literally looks like it's in slow motion the whole time.
It doesn't look like a fun game.

>>737879037
A banner created using AI devalues a product simply because anyone can make one. It's like opening Paint and quickly drawing something and use it as a banner for your game, of course people will be suspicious of your product if you do that....
>>
>>737873802
Seems like something I'd get bored with 3 minutes in.
>>
>>737879787
>Watching the videos here, the game seems really slow. It literally looks like it's in slow motion the whole time.
>It doesn't look like a fun game.
Depends on game mode. On highway you can drive a supercar at 300 km/h (180 mph).
There is also professional racing with formulas, there it's also much faster. You can see it on trailer at 2:28.
>>
>>737879448
yeah but you're promoting it as flatout + beamng + gta 4 not as gta 1 & 2
not shitting on your game is whatever, just think the crashes look silly since there's no rolling
>>
>>737880167
It's still fucking slow. Look, for example, when a car crashes, it keeps spinning slowly for several seconds. It might be "realistic" in terms of the cars' size, but it doesn't look fun.
Check out the videos for this game, then watch some GTA 2 gameplay. The contrast will make GTA2 look like it's running twice as fast as it should.

Also, check out the drift with the truck. It takes the guy a full 10 seconds to make a single turn. Maybe it's realistic, but it doesn't look exciting.
And the cars' acceleration seems painfully slow. In the "carnage" video, after the truck crahses, it takes so long to pick up speed again… doesn't look exciting.
2D games like this need to be faster, even if it isn't realistic.

>I highly recommend changing the steam banner of your game from the AI image you have right now your feelings on AI is irrelevant but it leaves a bad taste in people's mouths
I will consider it, but it takes about $300-500 to have an artist create steam capsule, and it's a low price game. Is the current capsule that bad, other than the fact it's AI?

>>737879530
>so it's like gta2 but boring shit?
Currently it has following features:
-demolition derby (like in flatout)
-highway driving (like GTA)
-crash racing with intersections on tracks
-professional racing with formulas on international circuits
I might add more modes such as drifting, carnage, etc. What modes would be best to add?

3D camera.

>>737880581
>not shitting on your game is whatever, just think the crashes look silly since there's no rolling
I see the point. But this is the limitation of the 2D, I can't easily add car rolling due to 2D car deformation system. It would be very hard to combine the two systems together.
>>
>>737873802
Why do you shill your shitty game here? Buy an ad.
>>
>>737873802
It should have a crash junction mode like in Burnout. I’d buy that instantly. And when vehicles detect a crash in front of them, they should brake but actually accelerate.
>>
>>737881649
fix the car to be 3D or at least a billboard, faggot
>>
>>737880914
Yes I also feel the game is slow, at least most of the cars.

I was thinking of adding a "physics difficulty" setting, if you lowered it, the cars would have more tire grip so that you can take corners at higher speed. What do you think?

There is also a new formula car that is not on the trailer, it has more downforce and can take corners faster.

Can you explain what is a "crash junction mode" in Burnout? I never played Burnout. I don't play video games.

You might want to add some illusion of height through shadows or something, GTA2 was at least partially 3d
>>
>>737883932
In Burnouts crash mode had different small maps. You had to drive into the traffic causing as much damage as possible before the timer runs out or your car wasn't moving anymore. You could kinda move your vehicle after crashing to cause even more chaos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LZmJyQk6-Y

>You might want to add some illusion of height through shadows or something, GTA2 was at least partially 3d
Actually, this game is also "partially 3d", you can see on videos >>737881649 >>737883932
But yes, there are no shadows from interchange roads yet, in GTA 1 & 2, bridges did have shadows.
>>
>>737873802
Are physics 3D or 2D? Racing games with 2D physics are often boring, the car is constantly glued to the road.
>>

>The cars don't roll because the game has 2D car deformation system. It would be hard to combine it with the cars rolling. The cars in GTA 1 and 2 also didn't roll.
Not really. GTA Advance had cars rolling despite using 2D sprites.

I can consider this but I was planning a different "Carnage" mode, like in Driver 1, where you just take a truck and crash as many cars as possible within the time limit.

2.5D, some aspect of physics are 2D, some 3D.

Not in this game, the physics are realistic, maybe too much. You can lose traction and drift, just watch the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmnpzOYB-bM

I will look into GTA Advance, but, it's not only about 2D sprites, it's about the fact that cars can be damaged, deformed, a lot. When the car is badly deformed, how would I roll it to the side?

The capsule art is made by AI, I thought it looks nice, am I wrong?
I might try to create a better capsule myself, but I am not this kind of artist. I made the art for the game (like cars), but capsule is a different thing. Artists take $300-500 for a capsule set.

>When the car is badly deformed, how would I roll it to the side?
I don't see how car being damaged would change the rolling physics in any meaningful way, if that causes problems you could always use some simplified physics for that. GTA Advance had cars swaying from side to side, rolling, even jumping on a 16.8 MHz ARM CPU, you don't really need anything too fancy as long as it feels and plays good.

You have to change that banner. Any game with Ai art i immediately ignore because I assume it's a scam.

Add different biomes.
Gta Chinatown wars on the fucking ds had cars that could roll over. That's what you should be comparing this to. Your deformation is nice though.

>Gta Chinatown wars on the fucking ds had cars that could roll over. That's what you should be comparing this to. Your deformation is nice though.

The problem is combining deformations with rolling car to the side. When the car is very deformed (from top view), how it should look in when it's rolled to the side? This is not easy. I am not saying it's impossible to implement but I it will be hard to design this.
I doubt GTA Advance or Chinatown had dynamic/generated car deformations like Destructor2D. GTA 1 & 2 had only pre-drawn deformations, it always looked the same when you damaged the same car.
