Is pic related fun?I have never played a grand strategy game before but i do have autism and hundreds of hours in colony/city builders and CIV 5 and 6.
>>737877589It is very fun in the beginning and turns into an absolute slaughter of you're not a turbo autist. Even on easier difficulties, the game will outright cheat just because. It's fun being space hitler though and even more so with a few friends
>>737877589I mean it is far away as a "colony/city build", it has really shitty learning curve but the moment you start to "oh, I know what to do now" game starts to be actually fun, mods are pretty good but to be fair not always updated, and pirate all dlc for the love of god, don't give money to Paradox. If you are autismo overload you will be just fine, game exactly has a learning curve around 50-100 hours.
>>737877589For me it's fun for the first few hours, then it becomes too bogged down with repetitive tasks.
>>737877973I hate when people equate having lots of mechanics to being autistic. The mechanics have to be rigid, unintuitive and specific for a game to be autismo fodder. Factorio or Elin cover the autismo spectrum well. Stellaris is a game that liberal arts students can enjoy. The mechanics are broad and optional, while the core gameplay loop is as braindead simple as Master of Orion 2. In fact the game is surprisingly boring after you went through all the "wow crazy" events once. Its strength is that is has lots of them to pass the time with
>>737878140Pretty much. Its too easy to just steamroll everything unless you want to do some retarded challenge mode. The only way I can play for longer than a few hours is to stick to a RP idea.
