Finished this game today (including the extra stage). Let's talk about it.
no
it's such a good little game honestly. That's the only Touhou related thing I've ever touch and loved it. I wish there was more of this. The Za Warudo abilities are so fun to mess with
>>737881560yes
>>737881740ok let's
>>737881316Team Ladybug is very good at what they do, and it was a ton of fun playing a game that heavily based around stopping time without feeling like you were just too OP for the game to work.
>>737881316It's a fun game. The map should show more info.Sakuya is my favorite and her powers were cool.
Nice indie but I played it once and never again
>>737881790I liked the game, but it was a shame it was pretty short. Maybe it was for the best.I also liked the game really tries to test your control of all game mechanics, like WHEN stopping time.
Fun little game the only way to interact with the media without becoming a complete autist.

it's okay but it's greatly overrated, the metroidvania design is nothing but a couple movement upgrades and a bunch of colored keys for colored doorsdeedlit is much better and blade chimera sucks
>>737881316This might just be their best game. I had so much fun figuring out the boss fights.
>>737883006>I liked the game, but it was a shame it was pretty short. Maybe it was for the best.Could have used an extra stage or two to round it out... speaking of which, I'm still angry picrel wasn't a boss.
Thousand Daggers breaks the game
>>737881316My favorite Team Ladybug game. Record of Lodoss War and Blade Chimera were both fine but each one was slightly worse than the game before it.
>>737884909But anon, doesn't it already have two extra stages?
>>737884787 >the metroidvania design is nothing but a couple movement upgrades and a bunch of colored keys for colored doors I mean yeah, structurally it’s simple, but I don’t think that was ever the point. The map gating is basic on paper, the depth comes from how the time-stop reshapes combat and platforming. Half the “keys” are basically skill checks for how well you can route time stops + knife placement without eating shit.Deedlit has more traditional MV progression and gear fluff, sure, but it also just turns into elemental stance micromanagement by the end. Luna Nights feels tighter and more focused to me. It doesn’t overstay its welcome.Blade Chimera sucking though? On that we can agree.
