some trends are good. I haven't grown tired of pixelart indies, despite how common they've become in the last decade. I much prefer them to high fidelity 3D, my eyes are too slow to deal with all that detail.

For me its 6th gen stuff and early 7th gen stuff. Sadly its too high fidelity for indies and current day devs hate stylization so we won't see anything other than hyper realistic cities (compare dmc4 and 5 for an example)
