Can I get a QRD on this console? Which models are best? I'm planning to buy one and soft mod it because I don't like the upscaling on the Vita.

>>737911130you want a PSP 3000 because it has the most colorful and responsive screen as well as the most features.the 3000 screen was somewhat divisive back in the day because its low response time creates a combing effect in motion similar to watching shittily deinterlaced video. the 2000 didn't have this in exchange for the entire screen refreshing slower. you'll notice it but you won't care after a short while.the PSP go has as good of a screen but a cramped layout, and shitty memory cards that require invasive mods to circumvent.avoid 1000 and street if possible. 1000 has a mediocre screen and less RAM, street has no wi-fi and a mono speaker.while having a working UMD drive is fun if you ever find cheap UMDs, actually using UMDs as intended sucks, they load slowly and take lots of battery life. even if you like to collect physical games you are looking at ripping all your games to play from a memory card.for memory cards, you want to get a 128GB or smaller microSD card, and a single slot microSD to memory stick adapter. larger sizes have stability issues and dual slot adapters are a meme.
Go is both cool and a pos. I wanted one to play games with video out, and its the best psp for that and while i never would have bought a digital only system back when it was new, i rip my umds anyway to my modded 3000 so it doesn't matter. Best feature is you can natively connect a dual shock 3 to the Go. The worst part, is sony in their wisdom combined the AC and video out ports together, so getting power and video out at the same time requires a ridiculously rare official charging dock designed specifically for the Go. You would think someone would have made a simple splitter cable for it, but no dice.
